Magenic Named "Worldwide Partner of the Year" By Microsoft

Award Recognizes .NET Expertise and Leadership

"In addition to Microsoft recognizing that we built the best custom application in the world this year, this award reinforces our position as a leader in .NET development," said Magenic President and Co-founder Paul Fridman, as Magenic won Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Award for Technical Innovation in Custom Development Solutions.

Magenic bested five other finalists in this category, which recognizes partners that are developing and implementing innovative technical applications for clients using one or more Microsoft products.

"Our exclusive focus on Microsoft technology, combined with our uncompromising recruitment and retention of the best talent, has created a formula for providing the best technical solutions to our growing list of Fortune 1000 clients," Fridman continued.

Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a group of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide.

"The past year has been unparalleled in terms of the level of innovative solutions Microsoft Partners have developed and delivered to our mutual customers," said Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft.

"Those at Magenic have set themselves apart from an extremely competitive field, and we applaud them for this well-deserved victory. Their achievement is exemplary of the kind of vision that will help take us beyond the solutions of today to realize the full potential of technology in busines," Watson added.

Magenic worked with wine.com's development team to rebuild wine.com's proprietary warehouse management system using the Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. The solution has significantly reduced the cost and time to execute key operational processes. In addition to demonstrating expert knowledge in .NET application development and agile methodology, Magenic worked collaboratively with the wine.com organization.

"This award not only validates our decision to work with such a top-tier organization like Magenic, but also our decision to move to the .NET framework given the commitment Microsoft has made to this technology and to their development partners," said Francis M. Juliano, CIO/CTO wine.com.

The Microsoft Partner Program Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year. With Microsoft's recognition that Magenic's applications are at the forefront of their industries, clients are reminded that Magenic has unparalleled expertise in delivering software applications based on Microsoft technologies. This recognition identifies Magenic as the most skilled partner in its application-development areas.
